Valley Mission is a non-profit organization offering shelter, support, hope and God's love to the homeless. Basic needs of shelter, food, clothing and spiritual encouragement are provided to all. There are two thrift shops operated by the Valley Mission in Staunton and Waynesboro. The thrift shops provide assistance to those in the community needing help with clothing, household items and furniture through the thrift store. Vouchers are available for the thrift store for those unable to afford to buy needed items. Inside each store you can find clothing, furniture, housewares, electronics, appliances, and much more for a great price. And there are daily specials where you can save even more! Program offers people with developmental disabilities a family based solution to their needs. Family Care homes provide a person-centered, family-based home in which an individual with developmental disabilities can become an active member of a family. Respite support offers temporary, short-term, home-based support for an individual. Family based residential options for adults and children with developmental disabilities. OPTIONS day support program: center and community-based program.

Outreach Program: Provide or make referrals for services to children placed in Outreach program by Juvenile Courts that will keep the children trouble free, make them available to the Court where applicable, and to avoid the need for secure detention and/or placement in other institutions outside of community. Electronic Monitoring - use electronic monitoring equipment to monitor juvenile in home setting, avoiding the need for secure detention.

An average of five Virginians die from fentanyl poisoning every day, becoming the leading cause of unnatural death in the Commonwealth. The multi-media campaign will distribute targeted messaging to spread awareness of the drug and provide a web-based resource platform for Virginians to access information on where to get help.
