HCS is the sole treatment provider for the Washington County Drug Recovery and Monitoring Court (DREAM COURT), under the leadership of the sitting Washington County Circuit Court Judge. The DREAM Court Program is a three phase program lasting 12-24 months for adult criminal offenders who are experiencing drug and/or alcohol dependence problems. The program requires frequent Court appearances, random drug and alcohol screenings, individualized substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment, and intensive supervision. Clinical assessments are provided for all potential participants, some of which will be provided pre-release from the Southwestern Virginia Regional Jail. Appropriate case management services are also provided to assist participants in identifying and accessing appropriate systems of support.
