Description
MED-RIDE is a local transportation program designed to serve those persons in the New River Valley who do not drive or have access to a ride and cannot afford public means of transportation. MED-RIDE serves persons regardless of age or income level. This program relies on qualified volunteer drivers and community support. MED-RIDE coordinates with partner agencies to provide transportation, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, for individuals to get to their health-related services.
