The Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC) Program will offer educational support to adults who may want to re-enter high school equivalency programs as well as provide guidance about college admissions and careers. The program will connect participants with tutors, mentors and counselors who will coach them through the college admissions process, teach them about financial aid and offer guidance on course selection.

Preschool program runs concurrent with the Augusta County school calendar and is a full day program, 5 days a week except for one Friday of each month. This Friday is used for screenings, teacher trainings and home visits. Assessments for math and literacy are completed three times throughout the year to track students' progress and ensure preparedness for kindergarten. A small food pantry ministry of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church working to eradicate food insecurity and hunger within the local communities and across Western Loudoun County. OPEN HOURS from 2PM to 5PM every Wednesday, except the day before Thanksgiving. Other access available by appointment, which can be obtained by calling the church office. No paperwork required, serve on the basis of need, open shopping. Limited amount of fresh vegetables available in the spring and summer months, but little other fresh food available. Mostly non-perishable items.

Provides immunization services for all ages. These include vaccines required for school entry, like Tdap, Human Papillomavirus (HPV), and Meningococcal vaccines for 7th and 12th graders. Additionally, we offer adult vaccinations for Tetanus, Hepatitis B, and other routine immunizations year-round.

Available on a sliding fee scale for those who need assistance in maintaining their homes. Respite (Personal Care) services can provide relief for caregivers when care giving becomes a full time job. Caregiver support groups are available in some communities.

Provides recommended and required immunizations in accordance with ACIP and AAP recommendations. 2. Charitable food assistance network of partners serve guests living with hunger. partners include pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, schools, community centers, health clinics, and more. A partner food bank of Feeding America and the Federation of Virginia Food Banks.

Provides both short-term residential rehabilitation and long-term health maintenance services in a semi-structured, therapeutic environment. Rehabilitation services include vocational, substance abuse, and psychosocial rehabilitation. The facility provides supportive housing services and community-based residential treatment services.

This is a visitation and education program designed to meet the physical, psychological, and cosmetic needs of the breast cancer patient. One-on-one support is given through visits between the survivor and patient (either face-to-face, phone, or online visits).

Habitat for Humanity uses tax-deductible donations of money and materials and volunteer labor to build or rehab homes in partnership with families who face significant challenges in becoming homeowners. Partner families are qualified based on their need for housing, their ability to pay for a mortgage, and their willingness to provide "sweat equity" volunteer labor. The family then purchases the home with a reduced rate mortgage and affordable terms for payment.

Carriage Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center offer short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing care programs, as well as long-term nursing care should it be needed. The center also provides a registered dietician, full-service pharmacy, laboratory services, wound care, and more.

Goodwill’s Group Supported Employment program offers a high level of training, assistance and specialized supervision to individuals who require ongoing supervision but are able to work in an integrated employment setting. A group of participants (maximum of 8) with similar work interests work side-by-side with a Goodwill Employment Specialist, who provides assistance and guidance in completing job-related tasks and setting and achieving long-term goals.

Offers an adult group home for adults with intellectual disabilities diagnosed at birth, providing room and board for 6 residents. Residents must be ambulatory and able to attend a day work program. Laundry services and transportation services also provided.

Owners pay board, county fines, and any veterinary costs when they reclaim their pets. Fees for pet adoptions include cost of surgical neutering. Offers euthanasia for pets at no charge.

Volunteer Fairfax is the designated lead agency for recruitment and deployment of affiliated and spontaneous volunteers during an emergency. Manages donations and spontaneous volunteers during an emergency and activates a Volunteer Reception Center when called upon to do so by the Fairfax County Department of Emergency Management and Security (DEMS) and/or the City of Fairfax Office of Emergency Management (OEM). Serves as a connection between county government and nonprofits throughout recovery efforts. Serves as a voice for volunteer management and training on disaster and emergency-based committees and councils. Works with volunteer centers of the National Capital Area to further strengthen mutual aid compacts and communications planning.

Minor Surgery: Includes removal of skin cancers, moles, warts and other skin growths. Cryosurgery available for removal of skin problems too small for surgery. Labs: Affiliated with major licensed laboratory and can provide most routine lab tests performed outside a hospital. X-Rays: Can perform most standard x-rays and electrocardiograms. Family Planning: Services include PAP smears, pregnancy testing, birth control counseling and gynecological care. Medication Assistance Program RxRelief: To help income-eligible uninsured residents who meet income guidelines obtain medications at reduced cost. Provides eligible families with a monthly cash payment to meet their basic needs. For a child to be eligible he must be: *Under age 18, or if 18, will graduate from high school before age 19; *Going to school regularly if he is between the ages of five and 18; *Living with a parent or other relative; *A United States citizen or an eligible immigrant. Participants may be provided with services such as job skills training, work experience, job readiness training, child care assistance, transportation and other work related expenses. A child will not be eligible if born to or adopted by a TANF recipient more than 10 months after an applicant begins to receive TANF payments. The Division of Child Support Enforcement will send all support collected for this child directly to the family. This support will not count as income in the TANF program.

Investigates reports of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of adults over 60 years of age and incapacitated adults over 18 years of age and provides services when persons are found to be in need of protective services.

Assist individuals who are in recovery from drugs and/or alcohol with overcoming various barriers like locating employment, safe housing, caring for their physical and mental health needs, positive leisure activities, and maintaining recovery.
