CVACL's Education and Nutrition Sites provide hot, nutritionally balanced meals for older adults in a local group setting. Meetings include educational presentations and discussions, health screenings, adapted exercise sessions, recreational activities, artistic and cultural programming, and social events. Van transportation is provided for participants needing assistance traveling to and from the site or its events, as well as for occasional group trips to grocery stores, pharmacies, and local shopping. As part of CVACL's "wraparound" services, each site member is assigned a Care Manager to provide needs assessments, referrals, and follow-up.

Provides a Youth Employment Program (YEP). Each summer, the Highland Center gives local teenagers actual work experience by placing them with area businesses and organizations. YEP recipients also receive job and life skills training throughout the year. This latter portion of the program is available even to youth who are too young to take part in a work experience. The Highland Center also partners with other organizations to provide job opportunities for out of school youth, ages 18 to 24

Low Vision Services help Virginians with vision loss make the most of their remaining sight through a full range of community-based support. A team of trained professionals works together to provide services such as vision assessments, counseling, and training on how to use tools and techniques to improve daily life. This includes both optical aids, like magnifiers, and non-optical aids, such as lighting or contrast tools. The team looks at all areas of a person’s life to help them live more independently and confidently.

Fauquier Senior Center provides eligible adults aged 60 and better with nutritious meals, educational and wellness programs, socialization, fellowship, and recreation through interesting and inspiring activities. Door-to-door transportation may be available upon request. Fauquier Senior Center, where healthy aging is embraced, is open Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m

Provide car seat classes for individuals who are eligible for Medicaid and meet income guidelines, and who are in the last trimester of pregnancy or have a child under 12 months old.

Accept clients on a 24/7 basis or a minimum of 3 hours per day.

A fifteen bed program in Tazewell County for adult males and females with moderate to mild intellectual disabilities. Staff provide 24 hour supervision. Residents of Cumberland Mountain Home are generally more independent in their functioning than residents of Intermediate Care Facilities, and require assistance rather than training for all areas of independent living. Emphasis is placed on community integration. Residents and family take part in service planning. Payment for residential services is made by the resident and is usually a percentage of the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security (SSDI) disability benefits.

Investigates reports of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of adults 60 years of age or older and incapacitated adults age 18 or older. If protective services are needed and accepted by the individual, local Adult Protective Services social workers may arrange for a wide variety of health, housing, social and legal services to stop the mistreatment or prevent further mistreatment. Services offered may include home-based care, transportation, adult day services, adult foster care, nutrition services and legal intervention in order to protect the adult. Services may also be arranged for individuals in emergency situations who lack the capacity to consent to services.

Vital Records provides certified copies of death certificates, applications for birth certificates, and applications for declaration of paternity. Certified copies of birth certificates for births that occur in the State of Virginia must be obtained from the Virginia Department of Health, Office of Vital Records and Health Statistics, 2001 Maywill Street, Richmond, VA 23230.
