This program provides free wood to citizens of the Metro Richmond area who qualify based on eligibility criteria. Wood will be delivered to homes that are located within a 12 mile radius of the woodlot in Northside Richmond. In times of wood shortage, priority is given to Richmond City residents and elderly participants. Requests for wood can be made weekly as needed, but wood will not be delivered to homes where there is sufficient wood to last for a week or more. All recipients receive one level truckload of stove-ready wood per delivery.

To accomplish this we investigate any communicable diseases that pose a public health problem, this includes foodborne illnesses, waterborne illnesses, tuberculosis, and other communicable diseases.

Serves adult women with primary diagnosis of Intellectual Disability (diagnosis must be documented as originating prior to age 18). Services offered include: 1) Residential Care with awake/overnight staff in a home-like environment; 2) In-Home/Supported Living Care; and 3) Short-term Respite Care. Applicants must have source of funding, i.e. ID Medicaid Waiver, private pay funds. The Giles County Animal Shelter is under jurisdiction of Giles County Sheriff Department. Colonial Behavioral Health provides a continuum of care in counseling services to through individual, group and/or family therapy. This program uses treatment and intervention to increase the strengths and resources of each individual served. Outpatient counseling serves individuals with mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders. The program empowers individuals to build skills needed to begin the recovery process. Evidence-based practices are emphasized. Services are recovery focused and based on person-centered planning and client-directed outcomes.
