For those facing financial hardship from unemployment, a family crisis, or a chronic medical condition, EnergyShare is Dominion's energy assistance program of last resort. There is no income guideline requirement, however, those under age 60 must have a disconnect notice (those age 60 or older do not need a disconnect notice). EnergyShare intake agencies determine eligibility for EnergyShare and may have additional requirements when qualifying customers for this program.

There are several Medical Assistance Programs offered in Virginia. Each program covers different groups of people and each program has different eligibility requirements. When you apply for Medical Assistance, you are screened for all possible programs based on your age, income, financial resources, and other information. To be eligible for a Medical Assistance Program, you must meet the financial and non-financial eligibility conditions for that program.

The Energy Assistance Program (EAP)consists of three components; Fuel Assistance (FA), Coolng Assistance (CA) and Emergency Crisis Assistance (CAP). The FA component is intended to provide supplemental assistance to offset the rising costs of heating expenses. The CAP component is intended to provide assistance with heating equipment needs and emergency fuel outages. Fuel Assistance opens the second Tuesday in October. The last day for applying is the second Friday in November. Main Qualifications: Have a heating need, meet the income and resource levels, include all persons living in the household, live in an eligible living arrangement and meet the citizenship requirements. Crisis Assistance applicants must meet the following: income level, resource level. Deposits: Opens the first working day in November. May only receive once per lifetime per fuel type. (Natural gas, electric and LP gas) Heating Equipment: Opens November 1st or the first working day in November for Replacement, purchase, or repair of primary heating source. Primary Fuel: Opens the first working day in January. It is for those that did not receive fuel assistance. Requires cut off notice for electric and gas. Almost out of fuel oil, wood, coal or island purchased kerosene. Cooling Assistance: Is offered during the beginning in mid-June. Must meet eligibility requirements

Offers temporary payments to needy persons caring for related children under 18 (or if 18, will graduate from high school before age 19) who need support due to death, disability, absence of parent(s), and sometimes employment. Offers limited aid to unrelated children. Provides employment services to recipients, upon approval, through the Virginia Initiative for Employment Not Welfare Program (VIEW Program). An Alternative Peer Group (APG) program provides recovery support for young people and and their families who are dealing with the devastating effects of substance use. APG Programs typically provide the following services: 1) Supportive, intensive outpatient therapy 2) After-school programming 3) Teen support groups 4) Clean, Sober and Fun Pro-social activities 4) Educational support 5) Family counseling 6) Parent & family support services. We have developed a program for adults as well, offering sober living housing for males and females.

Offers support, accompaniment, basic information, and advocacy to victims and survivors of sexual assault. However, these services do not provide any type of legal advice. Anyone needing detailed information about the criminal justice process or advice from an attorney is offered referrals in addition to our other services.

Provides electronic benefits that can be used like cash to buy food at any store that has a sign displaying the Virginia Electronic Benefits Card or the Quest sign. Each eligible household will receive a card that may be used like a bank debit card to purchase eligible food items from your account.

Region Ten provides a wide array of substance use treatment that includes a comprehensive continuum of care to meet individual preferences and needs, as well as recommended levels of care. This continuum includes outpatient therapy (group and individual), case management, care coordination, intensive outpatient program, co-occurring treatment, peer support, and residential levels of care. These services are provided throughout Region Ten's sites and locations.

Program which provides temporary financial assistance to eligible families with children. The family receives a monthly cash payment to meet their basic needs. The family must demonstrate financial need and meet TANF guidelines based on federal poverty levels.
