Family Crisis Services (FCS), a joint sexual and intimate partner violence program which provides direct support and advocacy services to victims and their families.. Offers an Education and Community Outreach Program, a Volunteer Advocate Program, a Shelter Program. The following services are available: Emergency Transportation * Residential Shelter * Crisis Intervention * Safety Planning * Court Advocacy * Medical and Legal Advocacy * Systems Advocacy * Education * Community Outreach Program * Information and Referral * Individual Counseling * Support Groups * Teen Services * Children's Services * 24/7 hour Hotline.

The primary service area is Tazewell County with limited services provided in Bland County, Buchanan County, Russell County, Smyth County and Wythe County. Locally managed and governed by a Board of Directors for the purpose of eliminating poverty and promoting self-sufficiency. One third of the Board of Directors are local elected officials or their designees, one third are representatives of local businesses or civic organizations, and one third are representatives of low-income communities.
