For those facing financial hardship from unemployment, a family crisis, or a chronic medical condition, EnergyShare is Dominion's energy assistance program of last resort. There is no income guideline requirement, however, those under age 60 must have a disconnect notice (those age 60 or older do not need a disconnect notice). EnergyShare intake agencies determine eligibility for EnergyShare and may have additional requirements when qualifying customers for this program.

Provides seniors living independently and persons at risk with a personal emergency response system which allows live voice to voice contact with a professionally trained emergency operator at the touch of a single button. Operators assess emergency and non-emergency needs and establish connection to help through a response list or area emergency rescue. Continuous 24 hour monitoring service. Service is to the home directly. No physical address for the program.

Circuit Court for Grayson County within the 27th Judicial Circuit of Virginia. The circuit court is the trial court with the broadest powers in Virginia. Handles all civil cases with claims of more than $15,000. Shares authority with the general district court to hear matters involving claims between $4,500 and $15,000. Authorized to hear serious criminal cases called felonies. Handles family matters, including divorce. Hears cases appealed from the general district court and from the juvenile and domestic relations district court.

Delivers nutritionally balance meals to the home bound. Most meals are frozen. Frozen meals are packed five to a box with everything they need for a meal. The meals are delivered once a week. Hot meals are received each day for 5 days.

Death records are filed at the health department in the county in which the death occurred, not the county in which the person lived. Certified copies can be obtained only by a relative of the deceased or by a representative of a funeral home. Local health departments have death records on file from 1963 to the present.
