A volunteer organization dedicated to the enhancement of southwest Virginia and southeast Kentucky, including but not limited to economic, infrastructure, education, and tourism issues. They run a clean-up project twice a year and work with other local organizations. There is no official office, so no official office hours. Food is provided to Hanover County residents on a weekly basis (Tuesday evening at 6:30PM). We typically offer a wide variety of foods including meat, bakery, deli items, and produce. To participate, a valid identification indicating Hanover County residence is required.

Circuit Court for Carroll County within the 25th Judicial Circuit of Virginia. The circuit court is the trial court with the broadest powers in Virginia. Handles all civil cases with claims of more than $15,000. Shares authority with the general district court to hear matters involving claims between $4,500 and $15,000. Authorized to hear serious criminal cases called felonies. Handles family matters, including divorce. Hears cases appealed from the general district court and from the juvenile and domestic relations district court.

Provides services, substitute care, and supervision for a child on a 24-hour basis until the child can return to his or her family or be placed in an adoptive home or another permanent situation. Local departments of social services provide training for foster parents. The training is designed to help foster parents understand and manage the needs of children in their care. Virginia GrandDriver is an educational resource designed to provide Virginians with information and resources about staying safe and mobile on the road as they age. The program gives older Virginians and their families suggestions to improve driving skills and keep everyone on the road safe.
