Didlake Day Support Programs provide opportunities for people with disabilities to optimize their personal, social, and vocational skills. Programs and services focus on personal growth and learning to help each individual live a full, responsible, productive life. Provides a supportive environment and encourage individuals to have new experiences. All individuals are active participants along with their family members, support coordinators, and direct caregivers in the development of their specific program plan. Program plans support the individual needs, desires, and interests of each participant.

The Homelessness and Community Initiatives Bureau, located at the Four Oaks Day Service Center, is a one-stop service and assistance center where individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness can receive support services and connections to community resources in one location. The General Registrar's Office provide opportunities for all qualified citizens of the County of New Kent to register to vote.

Builds houses to help disadvantaged, low income families from sub-standard housing, who are willing to help build their own home as well as other homes. Homes are built by volunteers and homeowners, known as partner families. Homes are sold to partner families with a no interest mortgage. Habitat families are selected: 1)completion of application and credit report, 2)ability to repay zero-interest mortgage, 3)inability to obtain conventional financing for a home, 4)living in substandard housing or homeless, 5)meet income requirements and 6)agree to partner with affiliate. Volunteers welcomed from all walks of life.

Certified copies of birth certificates for births that occur in the State of Virginia must be obtained from the Virginia Department of Health, Office of Vital Records and Health Statistics, 2001 Maywill Street, Richmond, VA 23230.

The Energy Assistance Program (EAP)consists of three components; Fuel Assistance (FA), Coolng Assistance (CA) and Emergency Crisis Assistance (CAP). The FA component is intended to provide supplemental assistance to offset the rising costs of heating expenses. The CAP component is intended to provide assistance with heating equipment needs and emergency fuel outages. Fuel Assistance opens the second Tuesday in October. The last day for applying is the second Friday in November. Main Qualifications: Have a heating need, meet the income and resource levels, include all persons living in the household, live in an eligible living arrangement and meet the citizenship requirements. Crisis Assistance applicants must meet the following: income level, resource level. Deposits: Opens the first working day in November. May only receive once per lifetime per fuel type. (Natural gas, electric and LP gas) Heating Equipment: Opens November 1st or the first working day in November for Replacement, purchase, or repair of primary heating source. Primary Fuel: Opens the first working day in January. It is for those that did not receive fuel assistance. Requires cut off notice for electric and gas. Almost out of fuel oil, wood, coal or island purchased kerosene. Cooling Assistance: Is offered during the beginning in mid-June. Must meet eligibility requirements

Provides community-based case management to child, adolescent, and adult brain injury survivors and their families who reside in the service area. Identifies, plans, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates services and resources to meet an individual's needs. A collaborative process is used to identify survivor centered goals, and marshal (coordinate) resources to meet those goals. Includes advocating for and creating community resources needed to assist survivors in maximizing recovery, optimizing employment or service potential, and reintegrating into their families and communities. Areas which are frequently the focus of case management services include: * Behavior / Self Direction; * Cognitive Skills and Communication; * Education; * Health and Medical Services; * Mobility and Transportation; * Recreation and Socialization; * Self Care and Independent Living; * Vocation and Employment.

Assist low income citizens of the Dungannon community and surrounding areas within Scott County, with home repairs.

Provides protection to the citizens of Hampton with a wide range of services, including: inspection of all food establishments, hotels, motels, tattoo parlors, and body piercing salons, public swimming pools and campgrounds; investigation of animal bites and childhood lead poisoning; beach water sampling and monitoring; processing of permit applications for on site water supply and sewage disposal systems; and advice on solid waste, insect, and rodent problems. Family grief assessments tailor care to each family member, also gives referrals to Peace by Piece, a peer support group for grieving teens and children. Provides educational materials, consults with school personnel, and gives necessary referrals to community resources for further assistance.

This 25-bed critical access facility has long served the Rockbridge County community. With over 280 employees the hospital admits over 1,500 acute patients each year. CSJH is committed to providing a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, specializing in imaging services, surgical services and therapy services.

The program focuses on the recovery of the family, not the user. The basic strength of the program comes from fellowship and sharing of concerns. Members learn that the addict's illness affects the lives of everyone close to them and that there are ways to regain their serenity. To get their lives back together, FA members work the twelve steps, attend weekly meetings, and take advantage of the fellowship that is freely offered by other members. Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of the meeting & provides protection & respect for the fellowship.
