Camp Hope Haven offers an overnight summer camp for children from across Hampton Roads, many of them from the inner city. Activities include swimming, horseback riding, sports, games, arts and crafts, and Bible study. A gymnasium provides an outlet for fun and excitement on rainy days. Donor-funded CHH sponsorships often cover all the costs for low-income families that cannot afford to send their children to camp.

This program can provide low to moderate-income individuals and families with financial assistance towards security deposit/1st month's rent, rental assistance or utility assistance. This program also provides case management to ensure that clients will become self-sufficient after completing the program.

STEP is a member of Meals on Wheels. We deliver hot, nutritious meals prepared in our kitchens to home-bound seniors who have been referred by the Southern Area Agency on Aging. Frozen meals that seniors can prepare at their convenience throughout the week are also available, as are bagged groceries for seniors who live in remote areas.

Nursing Home and Community Care Pre-Admission Screening is a Virginia Medical Assistance funded program (Medicaid). Designed to provide services in the home and/or community for people who would otherwise require nursing home placement.

VPAS' Case Management service offers an assessment of needs, development of an individualized plan of care, referral and linkage to community services, and monitoring and satisfaction of services implemented. A personal home visit is conducted to determine the level of service required.

This program provides counseling in regard to family planning, provides physicals, and medication as prescribed. Refers to GYN clinic for reactive paps for appropriate treatment. The program is accessible by all.
