Provides information and referral to military families regarding loan closet, food pantry, counseling, and other services. Individuals receiving Army Emergency Relief Loans are required to repay the loan amount (interest free). Grants are made when it is found that repayment would cause undue hardship. Information on military installations throughout the world is available to interested persons. Food Stamp information is provided for individuals. A loan closet has available dishes, baby cribs, kitchen utensils, etc. Agency now has a well-established and ever-growing budget counseling program to handle indebtedness. All of the counseling is done by paid staff.
