Description
CVACL's Information and Referral program provides community members with general information about available resources. Additional support (including education, methods of service access, assessments, and advocacy) is provided to older adults, persons with disabilities, and caregivers in order to promote the holistic well-being of individuals served and encourage their ongoing independence.

CVACL supports older adults and individuals with disabilities to live with dignity in accordance with their personal choice. It serves as a community alliance and the Area Agency on Aging for the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, and Campbell and the city of Lynchburg (Region 2000).
