Provides a medical clinic for residents of Gloucester, Lower King & Queen and Mathews who do not have health insurance or who have certain forms of medicaid. Services include a primary and chronic care clinic, dental clinic and prescription services.

ECHO provides limited financial assistance to clients for rent, utilities, late fees, prescription drugs, car repairs, and English classes.

Provide a medication carousel and manage administration. RN Care managers assist seniors by communicating between family members and medical care professionals. They keep track of medication lists and medical history and make sure that care is coordinated between medical professionals, pharmacist, doctors, specialists, and caregivers.

The Genentech Patient Foundation gives free Genentech medicine to eligible patients who don’t have health insurance coverage or who have financial concerns.

Web site and call center have extensive database of discount or free prescription medications available according to eligibility requirements. PPA determines which program to refer to based on inquirer responses to questions about eligibility, trying to get the least costly alternative. Program takes approximately two weeks from the time the caller completes and returns a form sent to them in the mail or downloaded over the Internet.

MedsHelp assists individuals with no insurance, medicare, or medicaid receive their maintenace medications from Pharmacy Patient Assistance Programs. There is a 4-6 week turnaround time for receipt of the medications after patient is deemed eligible.

Assists prescribers in obtaining medications for their patients who are unable to afford them and who do not have access to prescription insurance or government-funded programs. Limited to prescriber offices and certain patient advocate organizations.

GSK offers patient assistance programs to help those without prescription medicine coverage get certain GSK prescription medicines through the mail for free.

Assists eligible patients in acquiring prescription medications at no or reduced cost directly through the indigent programs operated by the pharmaceutical manufacturers. Eligibility based on manufacturer's criteria.

Funding provided for fuel assistance. There are certain requirements that must be met in order to receive assistance, which will be approved by the Director. The Center will have a Financial Assistance Form you will need to complete. The center provides transportation and cost for birth certificate and/or DMV ID's.

Provides emergency financial assistance once every twelve months with utility disconnect bills, rent eviction or 5 day pay or quit notices, and prescriptions. Any resident outside of Southwest or Northwest Roanoke City will need to obtain a referral from an agency in their area of residence. Does NOT offer assistance with Oxford House rents.

The LillyAnswers card will allow senior and people with disabilities under Medicare to pay a flat $12.00 fee for a 30 day supply for any retail distributed Lilly drug. Excluded from the program are controlled substances or any products not distributed by retail pharmacies.

The Pharmacy Connect program was established to assist persons who are uninsured or under-insured to obtain needed medications directly from the pharmaceutical companies at low or no cost.

Herndon-Reston FISH assists local residents in short-term crisis. FISH provides help by responding to emergency requests for rent, utilities, medical prescriptions, and other critical needs to stop destabilizing events.

The Medication Assistance Program (MAP) helps patients in two ways: - Providing discounts on some drugs from New Horizons Healthcare Pharmacy, located on the 1st floor of our building. - Providing access to free drugs offered by major pharmaceutical companies*. Pharmacy: 540-283-2552 Medication Assistance: 540-366-2334. The pharmacy is now offering delivery.

PAP provides assistance to patients experiencing financial hardship who have no third party insurance coverage for their medicines.

Pfizer RxPathways offers patient assistance programs to people without prescription coverage. These programs provide: Savings on Pfizer medicines, regardless of age or income, or Free Pfizer medicines for people with limited incomes who qualify. The Pfizer MAINTAIN program will help eligible people in financial need continue to get their Pfizer medicines if they have recently become unemployed and do not have prescription coverage. Beneficiaries of the program will get their Pfizer medicines for free for up to a year or until they become re-insured (whichever comes first). Eligibility: Individuals and their immediate family members are eligible for this program if: -They have become unemployed since January 1, 2009 -They were prescribed and taking a Pfizer medicine for at least 3 months prior to becoming unemployed and enrolling in the program -Lack prescription drug coverage -Can attest to financial hardship Enrollment: Applicants will be asked to complete an easy, one-page form, attest to financial hardship and provide proof of unemployment. The program does not require people to verify income and, as the program was designed for people who already have a Pfizer prescription, it will not be necessary to visit the doctor prior to applying to Pfizer MAINTAIN. The financial assistance program supports independence, safety, health and quality of life initiatives for people living with MS and their families. Financial assistance is generally offered once a year, but other circumstances may be considered for additional assistance.
