SingleCare (formerly FamilyWize) is a free resource that offers immediate discounts on prescription drugs at participating pharmacies. IT IS NOT INSURANCE. The discounts and savings are provided voluntarily by the more than 53,000 participating pharmacies that have agreed to accept this card. It can be used for any medicine not covered by insurance, Medicaid and Medicare plans. Prescription pet medications purchased at a pharmacy are also covered. There are no eligibility, age requirements, waiting periods, enrollment, or paperwork.

GSK offers patient assistance programs to help those without prescription medicine coverage get certain GSK prescription medicines through the mail for free.

Rx Outreach is a fully licensed mail order pharmacy that provides affordable medications for people in need.

The AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) provides medicine used to treat HIV/AIDS to individuals who have limited or no health insurance coverage and low incomes.

ECHO provides limited financial assistance to clients for rent, utilities, late fees, prescription drugs, car repairs, and English classes.

Herndon-Reston FISH assists local residents in short-term crisis. FISH provides help by responding to emergency requests for rent, utilities, medical prescriptions, and other critical needs to stop destabilizing events.

It can offer immediate savings on prescription drugs at participating pharmacies for people that have no health insurance, during deductible periods and for prescription medicine not covered by health insurance, Medicare and other benefit plans. This is not insurance, nor is it intended to replace insurance.

Services include: * Medical services provided by Licensed Physicians and Nurse Practitioners. * Lab and EKG services. * Limited range of X-ray services. * Behavioral health counseling services offered three days per week by Licensed Professional Counselor. * Respiratory Therapist typically available one day per month. * Sliding Fee Scale available to patients with no insurance and who qualify. * Full time Patient Services Clerk on site to help obtain medications for those that qualify.

PPA determines which program to refer to based on inquirer responses to questions about eligibility, trying to get the least costly alternative. Program takes approximately two weeks from the time the caller completes and returns a form sent to them in the mail or downloaded over the Internet.

Family Practice services for pediatrics, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Physicals, Minor Surgery / Cryosurgery is available for the removal of skin problems too small for surgery. Labs. On site EKGs. Family Planning Services include PAP smears, pregnancy testing, birth control counseling, and gynecological care. Medication Assistance Program The RxRelief Medication Assistance Program helps income-eligible uninsured residents obtain low-cost medications.
