Public Programs - Richmond, Valentine, The

The Valentine offers hands-on, interactive programs for both students and adults in a continuing effort to bring Richmond's diverse history to life. Reservations must be made in advance. All education programs are compatible with the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) requirements, and led by experienced Valentine educators. Programs are 60 minutes in length and include student workbooks.

Offers a multi-purpose facility providing active adults age 50 and older a variety of programs and services. The Center currently offers 100 programs and special events including fitness, travel, and life-long learning activities, plus socialization and volunteer opportunities. Many free services available to members include financial and personal counseling, tax assistance, and assistance with Medicaid/Medicare.
