Description

The Center for Economic Education at University of Lynchburg promotes economic literacy with a special emphasis on educating and supporting K-12 teachers. Innovative, SOL-compliant economic education resources and training opportunities are provided for teachers to develop students into competent, productive participants in our local and global economy. A member of Virginia Council on Economic Education and Council on Economic Education.

A coeducational liberal arts and sciences college related to the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) offering undergraduate degrees in thirty-eight majors. Masters degrees are offered in business, education, history, music, nursing, and English. The College also offers a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and a doctorate in Leadership Studies (Ed.D.). Fully accredited (SACS). Non-lending library, art exhibits, plays, lecture series, weekly senior symposium lectures, films, ecumenical worship services, music recitals, concerts, observatory, and fine arts series events.
