Ages/Times: Mornings from 8AM - 9AM for 1-5 yr. olds, 86 children in the morning 35 children 2-5 yr. old from NOON - 3 PM. 1 yr olds are 2 days/week. 2 and 3 yr olds 2 or 3 days/week. 4 yr. olds are kept 2,3, or 5 days/week. 5 yr. olds for 5 days/week.

FAMIS covers uninsured children under age 19 years whose family meets the income guidelines.

Adult Protective Services investigates reports of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of adults 60 years of age or older and incapacitated adults age 18 or older. If protective services are needed and accepted by the individual, a wide range of services to stop the mistreatment or prevent further mistreatment are available. These services include social and legal services, emergency assistance and assistance in obtaining other forms of substitute decision making, including guardianship. Home and community-based services that allow the elderly or adults with disabilities to remain in their homes rather than move to institutional placements. Screening for adult care residence and nursing facility placements is provided.

The DARS Community Rehabilitation Case Management Services (CRCMS) Program assists people with severe physical and sensory disabilities to build a quality of life of their choosing through self-direction, support, and community resources. CRCMS Rehabilitation Specialists provide individualized long-term case management to people across the Commonwealth, as well as outreach and support services to residents of nursing facilities. CRCMS also provides Support Coordination Services to recipients of Virginia's Development Disabilities Medicaid Waiver. The Victims Services Team in the Division of Programs and Services administers grants, coordinates training, provides technical assistance, implements statewide initiatives, develops best-practice resource materials, drafts and reviews policies, and supports victim-serving organizations throughout the Commonwealth.
