No age restriction for 504 loans, must have very low income. Loans are at 1% interest rate for up to 20 years. Other restrictions and requirements may apply.

These fans are distributed to qualified persons in Franklin, Henry, Patrick and Pittsylvania Counties, Danville, Martinsville cities, who request them. Must be: 60 years of age or older; at or below 150% of the current Federal poverty levels; have a situation at home that threatens your health. Fan Care recipients will be asked at intake if someone can pick up the fan for them. Only in the cases where this is not possible, SAAA will try to arrange for delivery of fans to those in need who qualify.

Oxford House, Inc. is a network of self-run, self-supported recovery homes for members recovering from alcohol and substance abuse throughout Northern Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia (DC). We provide separate houses for men and women and some houses accept children with parent. When an individual is accepted for membership in an Oxford House, there is no time limit on how long he or she can live there, but the use of alcohol or drugs or non-payment of rent will result in expulsion. There is no clean time required to move into an Oxford House. All houses are near local transportation including buses and subways. Wheelchair accessibility varies by location.

The Virginia Lifespan Respite Voucher Program (VLRVP) provides reimbursement vouchers up to $595 to Virginia caregivers for the cost of temporary, short-term respite care provided to individuals, of any age, with a documented severe disability or medical condition. Priority will be given to assisting rural caregivers, male caregivers, LGBTQ caregivers, Indigenous/Native caregivers and caregivers of people with dementia.
Respite is short-term temporary care provided to someone with a disability, severe medical condition or special needs to temporarily relieve a family caregiver from that responsibility so they can rest, recharge and attend to their own care needs. Respite care can be for different periods of time, from a few hours to days or weeks.
