The purpose of Chesterfield Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court is to provide an independent forum to: (1) resolve juvenile and domestic relations disputes and other legal matters in a fair, efficient, and effective manner; and (2) protect the rights of all parties before the Court pursuant to the laws of Virginia and the Constitutions of Virginia and the United States. The Court will advance the best interests of youth and families; and serve and protect the citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia, by holding individuals accountable for their actions.

The Virginia Bleeding Disorders Program is a legislatively enacted program through the Virginia Department of Health, Division of Child and Adolescent Health, for the care and treatment of persons with hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders. Virginia recognizes that the ongoing medical costs of treating such bleeding disorders often exceed the financial capacity of families, despite insurance coverage. The program supports a system of coordinated, family-oriented, multidisciplinary services for persons of all ages with bleeding disorders.

The Environmental Health (EH) professionals evaluate and inspect restaurants, schools, hotels, motels, campgrounds, summer camps, migrant labor camps, adult and child day care centers and vendors at public temporary events for food safety.

Administers the unemployment insurance program that provides temporary financial assistance to individuals who become unemployed through no fault of their own. Benefits are paid through taxes on employers covered under the Virginia Unemployment Compensation Act.

Provide a variety of complex services to the public and bar, dealing with court administration of estates, file criminal, chancery (divorces) and civil cases. Issue marriage licenses, provide change of name form, approve notary applications and are responsible for jury management.

MCC's Applied Behavior Analysis program offers both home-based and out patient treatment options to a varied population. Services are provided to clients who experience developmental delays and whose behavior, if left untreated, would increase in severity and may lead to a more restrictive treatment environment.

This program helps and prevent someone from becoming homeless. Payment can be made to assist clients to retain their existing housing or transition to alternative housing, if they are at imminent risk of homelessness w/in 14 days.
