Eligible customers will receive a utility assistance grant applied directly to their Appalachian Power bill to help maintain or restore basic electric service (up to $300 per calendar year). Eligible customers will have a household income at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines. Available to customers who may not be eligible for the Energy Assistance Program. Grants are dispersed on a first-come first-serve basis to eligible applicants and are based on funding availability.
