Carilion Clinic Saint Albans Hospital (CCSAH) is a 36-bed inpatient treatment center located in Southwest Virginia near Radford. CCSAH offers comprehensive psychiatric treatment and chemical dependency programs.

Provides short-term (3 to 15 day) stabilization for individuals who have symptoms of behavioral health disorders that could, if not addressed, result in a need for hospitalization. This service also offers medically supervised detoxification from alcohol and other drugs. Services are provided in a recovery-oriented environment and include skills training, psychiatric care, on site 12-step recovery groups and discharge planning to assure continuity of care in transitioning to outpatient services.

Transitional living and treatment for substance use addiction.

An 8 week, in-care facility. Requirements: desire to be helped and willing to cooperate; commit to stay duration of program; abstain from all alcohol and non-prescription drugs. Spiritual recovery by means of regular Bible readings, group meetings, group and individual counseling, Scripture memorization and public worship services This is a Bible based Christian program. Elim is free of charge. A work program involving approximately four hours of work each weekday, consists of general handiwork, maintenance and food service.

New Life Recovery Center is a residential treatment facility for adults living with substance use disorders. A 30-day program, New Life has ten beds and serves both males and females who are 18 years of age or older with a primary diagnosis of alcohol and/or drug dependence. Residents may also have co-occurring mental health disorders.

Licensed 48 bed hospital based program that provides inpatient and outpatient services for the treatment of mental health and substance abuse issues. With each program, treatment is managed by a multi-disciplinary team consisting of: Psychiatrists, licensed therapists, nurses, certified counselors, occupational therapists, family counselors, referring professionals, and most important, the patient and their loved ones. Offers a medically monitored inpatient drug and alcohol detoxification program. This means physicians and nurses will carefully assess the client's drug and/or alcohol situation, develop an addiction detox plan and guide the client through their individualized plan. Depending on the particular circumstances, physicians may prescribe medication to help client move safely through this part of your treatment.

Each patient in this rehab program has an individualized addiction recovery plan. This may include all or some of the following: Group therapy, addiction education, individual therapy, group process, family therapy and twelve steps. Certified addiction counselors, nurses and physicians conduct drug and alcohol recovery therapy sessions. Staff nutritionist can work with patient on an individual basis. Individual addiction recovery programs may also involve fitness program; fitness class at a local gym three times per week; this is part of the holistic approach to recovery from addiction, mind, body, spirit.
