A community based self-help rehabilitation program designed to assist individuals with their recoveries from mental illness. The program operates as a club where members are voluntary participants and contributors. Members carry out the work of the house, vote on decisions affecting the program and provide mutual support to each other.

Mental Health Support Skill Building Services are provided based on a current assessment of the support, training and rehabilitation needs of the individual, and can be provided in any setting that allows the individual's community living needs to be addressed. Interventions are designed to provide training and support in: functional skills; out of home placement; displaying inappropriate behaviors; activities of daily living; use of community resources; medication management; nutrition; and health and physical needs management.

24-bed and 12-bed units provide 24/7 supervised mental health treatment and crisis support for adults ages 18+ experiencing a wide range of concerns, including co-occurring issues when mental health disorders are accompanied by substance use. Individualized community-based treatment, rehabilitation, and supports designed to meet the needs of adults with serious mental illness who often require 24-hour service availability to avoid hospitalization. Complete wrap-around services include intensive case management, psychiatric diagnosis and treatment, medication prescription, administration and monitoring, substance abuse services, counseling, vocational counseling, and life skills training.

Outpatient services for individuals experiencing behavioral health and substance abuse problems, including crisis services, evaluations, inpatient care, therapy groups and outpatient services

Provides a wide variety of clinical services for residents of the City of Lynchburg and the surrounding area. Both adults and children are offered individualized service options and specializations to meet their unique behavioral health needs. At this location, individuals have access to both in-person and telehealth care for adult and child medication management, nursing assessments, psychological evaluations, specialized outpatient therapy, specialized case management, emergency services, ambulatory crisis stabilization for children, school based services, health information management, and group therapy sessions. A psychosocial rehabilitation program designed to assist individuals with mental disabilities to achieve their maximum potential. Provides opportunities for the development of social skills, independent living skills, and employment skills within a supportive social network.

Provides outpatient psychotherapy, psycho-diagnostics, psychological testing and neuro-psychological testing. Serves adults, youth and children over age 2 in need of mental health evaluation or counseling.

PRS Recovery Academy provides a curriculum-based day program that promotes movement out of PRS' facility-based programming and into meaningful community alternatives such as work, volunteering and school. Co-occurring disorder services, and assistance with transition to community-based activities also offered.

Provides an array of outpatient services for children with serious emotional disturbances, substance abuse disorders and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Services include psychiatric treatment, medication management, individual, family and group counseling, school-based day treatment, Intensive In-Home Services, Infant/Toddler Case Management, and case management for children 3-18.
