The YMCA offers basketball and pickle ball.

Offers fitness classes including low-impact, step, circuit and sculpt and stretch. Performs fitness evaluations on an individual basis. Operates a fitness center equipped with cardiovascular and strength training machines for individuals wishing to exercise on their own.

YMCA offers a large variety of Exercise Classes for adults and seniors as well as for different fitness levels.

The YMCA of Greater Richmond provides teens with programming the focuses on community service, social development, leadership training, and physical development. Some of our programs include Teen Leaders Club, Youth Enrichment Program (YEP), along with a variety of other programs.

Various water exercise classes, including chest deep water and 8 foot deep water aerobic classes and arthritis rehabilitation classes. Also provide swim lesson to seniors.

Diagnoses served include Autism Spectrum disorder, ADD/ADHD, Down syndrome, learning disability, mild to profound intellectual disability, traumatic brain injury, hard of hearing, visual or physical disability. Special Olympics Virginia is a year-round program of sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Through work in sports, health education and community building, Special Olympics is addressing inactivity, injustice, intolerance and social isolation by encouraging and empowering people with intellectual disabilities which leads to a more welcoming and inclusive society.

Princess Anne Community Recreation Center offers cardio equipment, weight room, indoor pool, pool ramp & wheelchair, group fitness room, gymnasium, sportwall, racquetball courts, dance room, adult billiards, youth game room, indoor play structure, locker rooms & showers, and meeting rooms. Recreational space is located adjacent to Strawbridge Elementary School and Princess Anne Area Library.
