Provide an array of outpatient services for adults age 18+ with mental illness, substance abuse disorders and intellectual disabilities. Services include psychiatric treatment, medication management, case management, in-home services, psychosocial clubhouse, and peer support. The Winchester Area Clinic is an Adult Regional Center serving the counties of Frederick, Page, Shenandoah, Warren, Clarke; City of Winchester. Day Support Program provides an engaging and safe environment to meet each individual’s needs by: Offering a variety of activities to stimulate interest and increase skills Providing opportunities for socialization Outside activities to encourage inclusion in the community Individuals participating in the Group Day Program meets at The Arc on a daily basis. The Program provides opportunities for individuals to improve and learn skills as well as enjoy group activities in a variety of settings. Community Engagement Program Participants spend the majority of the day in the community to learn and improve skills while focusing on becoming an active member of the community through volunteer work and participation in community events. Activities include: Arts and Crafts, Music, Games, Cooking Classes, Special Events, Exercise, Volunteer Opportunities, and Community Outings

Our services focus on personal growth and learning to help each individual live a full, responsible, productive life. Programs Community Engagement The Community Engagement program provides opportunities for participants to directly interact with people who do not have disabilities in naturally occurring community settings. While in the community, program participants are supported and encouraged to learn and understand how to successfully engage in each activity with the goal of developing interdependent relationships. Group Day The Group Day Program provides on- and off-site activities that teach individuals to be independent, healthy, and active participants at home and in the community. Didlake work with each participant to develop and meet their specific needs and goals. On-site activities provide opportunities for individuals to participate in wellness-focused classes on exercise, cooking, personal hygiene, and safety. Programs also offer personal growth activities to build communication, socialization, behavior management, self-advocacy, technology, and literacy skills.

Hazelwood House is a state licensed adult day health care (ADHC) center that provides services and opportunities for older adults and for adults with special needs in Mecklenburg and Brunswick counties.
Day Support Services Program is a non-residential, structured program of activity and/or training for adults with intellectual disabilities with the goal to maximum independence.
Provides day care and supervision of people in early, middle and late stages of Alzheimer's, dementia, and other memory or cognitive impairments with the goal of providing opportunities for mental stimulation, social interaction, and organized participation in life's daily activities. Offers social programs and engaging activities, meals, snacks, and assistance with personal care and medication administration.
The purpose of Adult Day Services is to serve adults 18 years and older in a daytime setting. These participants may require supervision during the day for many reasonsto include but not limited to, risk for falling, medical supervision, medication administration, increasing activity level, supervision for safety, re-direction, assistance with activities of daily living, etc. During the day, the participants will be served a morning and an afternoon snack, as well as, a hot noon meal. There will be scheduled activities throughout the day. Participants will be encouraged to participate to their individual potential. The center will serve people with a variety of difficulties to include those with Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, stroke, trouble ambulating, etc.
Weekday enrichment for older adults (including those with forms of dementia) and those 18+ with disabilities in Charlottesville and Louisa. Activities, healthy lunch, intergenerational connections, caregiver support, health/medication management.

Designed to assist and empower brain injury survivors gain independence through community activities and personal goals in the Fredericksburg area.
Provides day support services and a Lifeskills program for individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities. Services are person-centered and community-based.
Bridges the gap between children and older adults in a safe, homelike setting. Provides preschool and before and after school programs, all in an intergenerational atmosphere. Together, children and adults have participated in special activities, including a pen pal program and a celebration of our Appalachian heritage. Integrates the wisdom and insight of the elderly with the energy and enthusiasm of the young. Intergenerational day care offers children the opportunity to take part in carefully selected, supervised activities with senior citizens. It also allows family members to work or take a break from caring for a loved one. Skilled staff create individual care plans for participants. Staff includes a supervisor, activities director, registered nurse, and personal care attendants. Participants receive recreation, socialization, health monitoring and medication management in a home like environment. Each day we serve a USDA-approved breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. Collaborate with the AllCARE for Seniors PACE program. Through this partnership, participants receive socialization, in conjunction with therapy and medical services while they attend day care. Generations continues to offer training and support sessions to caregivers throughout our service area.
Offers a combination of educational and recreational activities for persons with severe disabilities. Community integration is a major focus of this program and frequent field trips are sponsored.
The program offers group-based activities, personal care, and health monitoring to adults aged 18 and above who are unable to stay alone at home during the day for various reasons. The program also provides crucial respite care to families who provide caregiving.

Independent Living Skills Instruction
Long term care for frail seniors. Assists the frail elderly to remain as independent as possible by providing a complete program of health care and health related services, all designed to keep the individual living at home in their community. An alternative to a nursing home institutionalization, and serves frail elders who are nursing home eligible but who prefer to remain at home. Medicaid, Medicare and private pay are accepted. All health care and health related services are managed by a multi-disciplinary team of professionals.
