Adult Day Care - Newport News, Riverside Adult Day Services

The purpose of Adult Day Services is to serve adults 18 years and older in a daytime setting. These participants may require supervision during the day for many reasonsto include but not limited to, risk for falling, medical supervision, medication administration, increasing activity level, supervision for safety, re-direction, assistance with activities of daily living, etc. During the day, the participants will be served a morning and an afternoon snack, as well as, a hot noon meal. There will be scheduled activities throughout the day. Participants will be encouraged to participate to their individual potential. The center will serve people with a variety of difficulties to include those with Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, stroke, trouble ambulating, intellectual disabilities, etc.
