Description
Day Support Program provides an engaging and safe environment to meet each individual’s needs by: Offering a variety of activities to stimulate interest and increase skills Providing opportunities for socialization Outside activities to encourage inclusion in the community Individuals participating in the Group Day Program meets at The Arc on a daily basis. The Program provides opportunities for individuals to improve and learn skills as well as enjoy group activities in a variety of settings. Community Engagement Program Participants spend the majority of the day in the community to learn and improve skills while focusing on becoming an active member of the community through volunteer work and participation in community events. Activities include: Arts and Crafts, Music, Games, Cooking Classes, Special Events, Exercise, Volunteer Opportunities, and Community Outings
