Operates the following programs: Youth Haven Assessment and Brief Intervention Center, Outreach Detention and Electronic Monitoring, Runaway and Homeless Youth Program and Parent Education. Youth Haven Assessment and Brief Intervention Center Male and female clients ages 12 through 17 can receive individualized nonresidential services based on a screening for strengths and areas for improvement. Brief interventions include, but are not limited to: screenings, individual and family counseling, surveillance, anger management, and life skills services. A weekly support and educational group is available to the parents of adolescents. A Teen Parent Education group is offered in partnership with Children's Trust to provide basic parenting skills and support to adolescent parents and pregnant teenagers. Outreach Detention/Electronic Monitoring Male and female clients who have been court ordered pre-dispositionally will receive intensive supervision including, but not limited to: daily supervision, counseling, crisis intervention, electronic monitoring supervision and family involvement.
