Youth Delinquency Prevention - Waynesboro, Central Shenandoah Valley Office on Youth
This division is designed to deter juvenile crime and provide an alternative to detention. Services to individuals primarily referred by the staff of the 25th District Juvenile Court Services Unit, Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, Schools, Police and Sheriff departments, and the Department of Social Services. Programs offered include: Anger Management - Shoplifting Alternative Program - First Offender Program - Life Skills - 3rd Millenium Classrooms school discipline alternatives Detention Alternative and Outreach Services: Outreach Detention - Electronic Monitoring - Curfew Checks - Surveillance Checks - After-Hours On-Call Coverage For more information on any of the programs listed, please call the Office on Youth.

The mission of the Central Shenandoah Valley Office on Youth is to promote collaborative efforts among youth and family service agencies to encourage positive youth development in our community. Encourage positive interaction between youth and the community and foster healthy youth development and citizenship. Programming which focuses on promoting responsible behavior among youth, encouraging community responsiveness to youth issues, and empowering parents to embrace their role.
