Transportation - Culpeper, Connector and Express, Virginia Regional Transit

Provides transportation for the Town of Culpeper and Culpeper County. The Culpeper Connector provides transportation within the Town of Culpeper. The Culpeper Express offers curb-to-curb Demand-Response service within Culpeper County to complement the Culpeper Connector fixed route. Rides are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Greater Fredericksburg region is located in central Virginia, on the I-95 Corridor, between the Washington D.C., and Richmond Metropolitan areas. FXBGO! is a department of the City of Fredericksburg and is directly managed and operated by City of Fredericksburg employees.

Transportation - Lexington, Rockbridge Area Transportation System

RATS provides on demand, door-to-door transportation that is safe, reliable, and affordable. Anyone living in the Rockbridge area can ride for any reason. Simply call 48 hours in advance of your need. A sliding fare scale based on income is used. We specialize in transport for the elderly, isolated, low-income, and people with disabilities for the purpose of healthcare, employment, critical errands, shopping, community involvement, and social activities. Rides are also available to regional medical centers in Roanoke, Charlottesville, Fishersville and elsewhere. Medicaid riders call 1-866-386-8331 and make Medicaid healthcare trip reservations at least 5 days in advance. All licenses, operating authorities, and insurances are in place and all drivers are trained and certified to transport Medicaid clients.

Customers must wait at the bus stop for pick up. Accessible transportation for people with functional disabilities is available upon request with a completed and approved Americans with Disabilities Act Paratransit Eligibility application prior to transport. Will deviate from the route up to .75 mile off of the fixed route. ADA requests must be booked at least 24 business hours in advance by calling Intake.

Provides transportation for the Town of Orange and Orange County. The Town of Orange Transit (TOOT) provides transportation within the Town of Orange. TOOT2 provides transportation from Orange to Gordonsville. Also offers a Demand-Response, curb-to-curb service within Orange County. TOOT is radio dispatched to meet special needs. The bus will come curbside to pick you up. All over town, anywhere within 3/4 mile of our route, we will provide ADA service. Our bus service is equipped with wheel chair lifts and tie downs! Bus Service - Fairfax, Fairfax Connector, Fairfax County Department of Transportation

Fairfax Connector operates a 283-bus fleet which provides public bus service on 85 routes throughout Fairfax County, from Lorton, Richmond Highway and Springfield on the southern end, to Vienna and Tysons Corner, to Reston, Herndon and Dulles International Airport in the northwestern part of the county, to Chantilly, Centreville and the Fairfax County Government Center in the central part of the county. Transportation - Roanoke, Smart Way Commuter Bus, Valley Metro

The Smart Way is a commuter bus service that links the Roanoke Valley to the New River Valley. The service begins in downtown Roanoke at Valley Metro's Third Street Station Transportation Center and ends at the Virginia Tech Squires Student Center. The route from the New River Valley to the Roanoke Valley is the exact reverse.Buses are compliant with the American with Disabilities Act of 1993, and 100 percent of the fleet is wheelchair accessible. Commuters who have questions about specific special transportation needs should call our Administrative Office at 540-982-0305, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Danville's Mass Transit System offers flexible, convenient and economical service options: Fixed Route service operates from 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday Half-fare discount is available from 6 am until noon on the fixed-route service for seniors, persons with disabilities and Medicare cardholders Handivan (paratransit) door to door service operates 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday Reserve A Ride door to door service for the general public operates from 4 am to 1:00 am (last boarding time is at 12:45 am), Monday through Saturday. The transit system encourages passengers to sign up to receive text alerts that will inform persons of service updates. Text alerts can be received by texting 24541 to dtupdate. Danville Transit's Transfer Center is located at 515 Spring Street and the mass transit administrative maintenance facility is located in the Public Works complex, which is located at 1002 South Boston Road, Danville, VA 24540.

Mobility Management/Transportation - Richmond, Ride Connection, Span Center, The

Ride counselors offer transportation education, travel training and referrals to local transportation providers. Also assist with discounted GRTC fixed route and CareVan tickets as well as Chesterfield Access vouchers on a limited basis. For those who meet eligibility requirements, Ride Connection is also able to provide two (2) round-trip rides to medical appointments for persons living in the City of Richmond and the Counties of Charles City County, Goochland, Henrico, New Kent and Powhatan.
