Provides periodic support to adults with intellectual, developmental and other disabilities so that they may live independently in their own home or the home of their family in the community.

Merica House is home to individuals with a variety of severe physical disabilities.

Provides in-home and community-based support services to individuals with mental illnesses by providing health and medication management and basic living skills instruction. Program objectives include increasing socialization and natural supports and identifying productive day activities. Individualized, person-centered service plans document individual goals. Counselors work with each individiual to reach their goals.

Housing for seniors 62 years or older.

Provide an affordable, retirement community for those 62 and over including those individuals 18+ with a verification of disability or referral from physician. Emergency Staff response service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Provides decent, safe, and sanitary housing under Section 8 rent subsidy for low to moderate income elderly families or individuals.

Offers independent living to persons 55 years or older. Offers services such as on-campus doctor, dentist, optometrist and pharmacy. Full service bank, convenience store and gift shop.

Provides independent living apartments and assisted living services without changing residence. Offers on site rehabilitation services include physical, occupational and speech therapy. Includes meals, weekly housekeeping,activities, lounges, and more. Free transportation available for residents to physician appointments, shopping and other personal appointments. Licensed by the State of Virginia to provide Assisted Living Services. Offers 24-hour on site licensed nurses who provide medication management, assistance with bathing, dressing and other personal services. Assisted Living Services are provided in the same apartment as the independent living services are offered.

A nonprofit, community based non-residential organization that is run by and for people with disabilities. A Center of action and coalition. Works to empower people to take charge of their own lifestyles. Designed and operated by people with disabilities. Promotes leadership, empowerment, independence, and productivity of people with disabilities. Works with individuals and with the community, to remove barriers to independence. This is a satellite office. Services include I & R, Advocacy, Peer Counseling, Independent Living Skills Training, Nursing Home and Youth Transition Services. Equipment for hearing impaired such as telephones, doorbells, pocket talkers, etc. Asistance for obtaining eyeglasses.

Provides a continuing care retirement community with independent living apartments and cottages, assisted living studio apartments and services and licensed nursing care. An applicant must be 65 years of age or older, or if a couple, one member must be at least 65 years of age. In addition, an applicant must meet the admission requirements for a cottage or apartment at Kendal at Lexington.

Provides a proprietary residential facility for senior citizens 62 year of age and over, and disabled individuals 18 years of age and older.

The ECNV Travel Training program is for people with disabilities who want to learn to travel safely and independently using public transportation in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Through the multi-day program that is comprehensive and individualized, individuals will learn a variety of travel skills that will enable them to ride local transportation independently. The Travel Trainers will work with individuals to learn transit routes to travel anywhere within the Washington, D.C. metro area.

Licensed as Assisted Living Facility. Have assisted living care for established residents. In addition to traditional residential program, there are 37 independent living apartments.

The program serves children between the ages of 10 and 18. The program implements individual and group counseling services to teach adolescents life skills. Provides employment coaching as well as coordination of therapeutic services. The program is participant focused but works to involve the parents in treatment planning. The frequency and intensity of the contacts with the Youth Counselor are determined according to the individual needs of the participants. Youth typically are in the program and monitored between 2 and 6 months. Community Attention works in conjunction with the 16th District Court Services Unit to provide Electronic Monitoring, Assessment, and Diversion services to Charlottesville and Albemarle County.
