Morningside Manor is a 105 unit HUD funded income based independent living facility for people age 62 or older and adults with disabilities. Offers studios, one bedroom units, laundry facilities, and five units that are wheelchair accessible.

BRHA currently owns and operates 388 conventional public housing units located in 6 developments. BRHA also operates the Housing Choice Voucher Program (also called Section 8) in the City of Bristol, VA. Additional affordable units through the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program are also available.

There are 85-Section 8 units and 13-Section 236 (low to moderate income) units. The apartments consist of 94 - 1 bedroom and 4 - 2 bedroom units. Minimum income levels depend on the number of persons in the household.

Provides housing for low income individuals and families in Warren County and surrounding area. They are federally administered and have 100 Section 8 units and 43 Section 236 (low to moderate income) units. Consists of 35 1-bedroom, 72 2-bedroom, and 34 3-bedroom units.

The Multifamily (Subsidized) Housing program provides quality, affordable rental housing for families, seniors, and persons with disabilities at developments that are owned and managed by Franklin Redevelopment and Housing Authority. Pursuant to program requirements, residents pay no more than 30 percent of their annual adjusted income for rent. Also offer the choice of flat rate rent. The flat rate rent option allows our residents to increase their earnings while allowing them to maintain a low and manageable rent paymen

Low-rent public housing: Own and operate 4 apartment developments for low income families (328 total apartments). Rents are based on income. Section 8 rental assistance: Provide rental payment assistance to low-income families living in private rental housing. Conduct various activities in selected neighborhoods with high percentage of low-income citizens and substandard housing. Activities include acquisition and demolition of dilapidated housing, provision of sites for new housing, construction of new housing, land for open space green areas. Activities and neighborhoods vary from year to year. Activities limited to City of Lynchburg.
