Offers affordable housing through a variety of subsidized programs, notably programs subsidized by the U. S. Department of Housing And Urban Development (HUD). BRHA currently owns and operates 388 conventional public housing units located in 6 developments. BRHA also operates the Housing Choice Voucher Program (also called Section 8) in the City of Bristol, VA. Additional affordable units through the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program are also available.
