Residents must be physically independent (able to take care of personal hygiene, bathing, etc.), mentally stable, and have no sexual crime history or violent crime history. ID check is completed by local police department upon check-in. Shelter is drug and alcohol free, and residents will be drug and alcohol tested randomly. Residents are required to attend church and devotion services daily/weekly.

A program of NRVCS Adult and Family Services. Provides what an individual would get in terms of education and therapy from a traditional residential substance abuse program while allowing the person to stay at home and continue with his or her regular job. The group meets three nights each week for ten weeks. Each night's session is for 3 hours. The maximum number for each group is 12 people. The group is open-ended so that people can join during any part of the ten-week cycle and gain full benefit. Individual counseling is a concurrent requirement.
