VPAS' Emergency Services program provides one-time immediate financial assistance and other resources, including referrals to other public and private agencies to older adults who have an emergency need. Emergency Services may include payment assistance for medication refills, assistive devices, and utility and rent payments. Assistance is provided one-time, per year, per older adult age 60+, who must have an emergency need for help which endangers their health and/or well-being.

CER assists residents in connecting to the community and accessing needed resources.

The Infant & Toddler Connection of Richmond provides information on child development, services for children with special needs or developmental delays, and community resources for infants and toddlers and their families. The Infant & Toddler Connection of Richmond also provides temporary service coordination, home visits, and developmental screenings of Richmond City infants and toddlers who are birth to 3 years old and may have special needs. The Infant & Toddler Connection of Richmond coordinates early intervention services within the community according to an individual child and family's needs.

RCASA connects with clients to help determine the most effective course of action that will best meet the needs of the survivor.

Provides an array of services to residents, businesses, vistors, and employees of the City of Alexandria through programs designed to prevent infectious and non-infectious foodborne and waterborne diseases and disabilities. It also strives to promote health, protect the environment, and eliminate unsanitary and unsafe conditions and public nuisances.

Coordinated Services Planning (CSP) connects Fairfax County residents to county- and community-based services and resources that can assist county residents with a variety of needs and provide information and referral. Provides general information on county programs and/or community-based resources to fulfill more pressing needs such as emergency food, shelter, clothing, healthcare, employment or financial assistance and other essential needs.

The Homer and Ida Jones Creative Arts, Technology and Workforce Development Center at the Bristol Public Library provides a range of services for adults to enhance their education, digital literacy, and career skills. It offers resources for computer classes, one-on-one computer help, 3D printing, and more, as well as assistance with adult literacy and Basic Education

This program is an opportunity for participants to gain knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed and thrive in the community and workplace.

A self-run, self-supported recovery home for women recovering from alcoholism and drug addiction.

Distribute clothing, food, and furniture(if available).

Community Food Pantry for Fredericksburg and surrounding counties. Offer resource referrals for other needs as well as computers for completing applications , resumes and other needed forms. The Center partner with many local businesses who donate food resources as well as the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank and Goodwill industries.

Maintains public parks, recreation and swimming facilities throughout the county for recreational and athletic activities, and offer classes in leisure activities. These classes change and vary throughout the year.

Provides safe emergency shelter throughout the New River Valley. Provides bus tickets/gas to get out of area shelters, case management, and information and referral to local programs. Temporary shelters include a two family house in Blacksburg called the Haven, a single-family house in Blacksburg called the Katharina von Bora Haus, a single-family mobile house in Christiansburg, and a single efficiency room in the Christiansburg/Shawsville area, and a single-family space in Christiansburg called the Father Scott House. The Shelter facilities available to date are established for short term housing (30-90 days).

Help to insure that crime victims and witnesses receive fair and compassionate treatment while participating in the criminal justice system.

Acquires, organizes and provides access and guidance to a wide variety of information and materials. All programs are open to the public and offered at no charge. If you need special accommodation to attend or participate in any Library program, please notify us in advance.

MCCS Quantico's CDCs are accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). All classrooms accommodate children according to their developmental age and any special needs. Two meals and one snack are provided daily.

The Commissioner of Revenue provide Arlington County residents and businesses services in meeting their tax obligations by applying Virginia state and Arlington County tax laws with uniformity, fairness, and integrity.

An optional local program designed to provide assistance, either maintenance or emergency, which cannot be provided through other means. Financed through state and local funding. May include assistance for medical or dental services, burial expenses, assistance for unattached children and interim assistance. The local program is developed by the local department of social services to meet the identified needs of each jurisdiction.

Provides immunizations for communicable diseases and for foreign country travel requirements. Offers flu and pneumonia shots. Also tests for communicable diseases such as TB and for sexually transmitted diseases such as AIDS. Hepatitis B & Hepatitis C testing available.

Offers inpatient, outpatient and sub-acute physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Outpatient services are located in the Outpatient Center at 120 North Commerce Avenue.

The evaluation and treatment process is individualized, focusing on developing programs that meet individual and family needs. The Clinic values and desires the support and cooperation of significant others in the process of treating communication needs.
