As a satellite site of Meals on Wheels Serving Central Virginia, LCRC offers the weekday meal delivery program to qualified homebound residents of the county. Deliver nutritious meals Monday through Friday that have been prepared for the unique dietary or medical specifications of our neighbors in need. Partnership between LCRC and Meals on Wheels, a FeedMore organization, provides chilled meals that are heated at home as well as a friend check-in.

Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Northern Virginia.

Family Lifeline's Home Care program provides older adults and persons with disabilities the resources and one-on-one support necessary to meet their basic self-care, emotional, and physical needs in their home. Customized companion care, personal assistance, homemaker services, as well as caregiver respite is offered. All older adults and individuals with disabilities, living in the Metro Richmond area, who require assistance with carrying out activities of daily living are eligible for services. Services are available for a few hours a week or 24 hours a day, including weekends, depending on need. Subsidized services are available.

Veteran Direct Care is a service program for veterans of any age, who are determined and referred by the Veterans Health Administration, to be at-risk of institutional placement and desire self-directed care. In other words, the program is designed to allow veterans who are potential candidates for nursing home placement to receive that level of care in their homes.

CSHD offers several services related to Harm Reduction, including: Free condoms – Available for walk-ins. Free Naloxone – Calling ahead is preferred. Naloxone is the only medicine that can reverse an opioid overdose. CSHD offers free nasal naloxone for anyone who uses or anyone who knows someone who uses drugs.

Provides rent assistance to residents of Richmond City and Henrico County. Rent must be 1-month overdue, late fees and other fees must be paid prior to funds being released. Do not assist with rent deposit nor move in expenses or hotel fees.

The immunization program reduces the morbidity and mortality associated with vaccine-preventable diseases. Vaccines are provided to adults and children following the guidelines set forth by the Advisory Committee in Immunization Practices (ACIP) within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. On-site and off-site immunization clinics provide vaccine opportunities for flu, pneumonia, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, and other adult and childhood vaccines. The program also provides consultation and vaccines for foreign travel.
