Southwest Virginia Child Development Clinic offers a multi-disciplinary team approach for the evaluation of children and youth from birth to 21 years, suspected of having developmental delays and/or disabilities from our twelve county, three city area. Home-delivered meals for clients who cannot prepare meals for themselves. Provides any adult, regardless of age, who is disabled and/or frail with a nutritious noon day meal. Volunteers deliver 2 meals at noon; complete noon day meal and a boxed supper.

Provides Social Security benefits to people who cannot work because they have a medical condition that is expected to last at least one year or result in death. Federal law requires this very strict definition of disability. Certain family members of disabled workers may also be eligible for benefits on a case by case basis.

A 100 bed assisted living facility for adults who require assistance with at least two activities of daily living. Provides care for residents who by reason of physical or mental impairment are not capable of self-preservation without the assistance of another person. Offers a self-contained safe, secure environment for individuals with serious cognitive impairments due to a primary psychiatric diagnosis of dementia or Alzheimer's who cannot recognize danger or protect their own safety and welfare.

Danville Senior Transportation is offered to Danville residents, age (60+) curb-to-curb, and often door-to-door service, for those who are in need of transportation. Participants can schedule trips to the center programs, medical appointments, mealsite, shopping, etc.

Infant and Maternal Health program provide parents with the education, community resources and tangible support they need to help their families thrive. Free and voluntary home visiting program designed to provide a research-based, long-term support system for the parents of children ages 0-5.

Serves adult men with primary diagnosis of Intellectual Disability (diagnosis must be documented as originating prior to age 18). Services offered include: 1) Residential Care with awake/overnight staff in a home-like environment; 2) In-Home/Supported Living Care; and 3) Short-term Respite Care. Applicants must have source of funding, i.e. ID Medicaid Waiver, private pay funds. Provide comprehensive support services in a Christian community setting with the goal of helping each person experience the most independent and complete life possible utilizing person-centered planning.
