Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community Counseling Services: the team provides outpatient counseling and educational programs for persons who are deaf, hard of hearing, or deaf/blind.

Provides programs and services to curtail juvenile delinquency and to resolve child custody, visitation and support disputes. Acts as a deterrent to help prevent as many problems as possible for juveniles and their families. Referrals are made to appropriate community resource and diversion programs when necessary. Provides probation and parole supervision for those youth who have been placed on probation and parole by the court.

Provides residents with comprehensive environmental health services such as septic and well permits, public food permits, regulation of public food establishments, tourist establishment, sanitation and restaurant applications. Investigates reports of food illnesses, working with businesses and citizens to educate and correct deficiencies.

The Immigration Services program provides affordable legal assistance for those dealing with federal immigration authorities. Services including assistance with applying for family reunification, permanent residency or citizenship, employment authorization, special visas and more. Bilingual staff is accredited by the Department of Justice.

Provides development and coordination of emergency services in the event of a man made or natural disaster. Offers disaster preparation and prevention services.

Clients needing transportation can also request to be placed on a car donation list for a used vehicle, as automobiles become available in the community.

The special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a short-term intervention program designed to influence nutrition and health behaviors of those eligible for WIC.

LGH helps those in need of home repairs to give them a safe, healthy, and independent life in their own homes. ​LGH plans work in May and October which may include: Home Repairs Small leaks, faucet replacements, loose steps, drywall repair, painting, hand railings, etc. Home Modifications Bathroom conversions from tub to shower, door widening, grab bars, ramps, etc. Property Wellness Decks, roofs, gutters, yard clean up, walkways, brush removal, etc.

Offers mentoring to children whose parents, caretakers or other family members are incarcerated or have recently been released.

At Strategic, our clinical staff is prepared to address the difficulties which challenge those with mental health problems. Designed to prevent institutionalization and repetitive inpatient stays, mental health support services work closely with the client, forming a service plan which address unique needs and personal goals. Problem areas are targeted and addresses. New skills are taught, enabling a higher functioning lifestyle. The client's counselor will work with him in his home as well as in the community.

Low-income individuals and families partner with Richmond Habitat to purchase a new or rehabbed home. Those purchasing from Richmond Habitat's program are required to partner with Habitat by volunteering on their home or the home of others in the program, volunteering at the ReStore and also attending educational classes. The program is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International; it shares its world wide goal of eliminating substandard housing. Families are selected on a non discriminatory basis and volunteers are welcome from all segments of the community.

The main purpose of the Evacuation Assembly Centers is to provide a checkpoint to monitor radiation contamination. Evacuation Assembly Centers will also provide shelter, food and clothing for those who need assistance.
