Arlington's County's Office for Teens provides programs for teens, often created by teens, that are fun, engaging and that help teens develop the assets they need to be productive, happy and healthy.

Provides a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) for all special education children ages two to twenty-one. An Individualized Education Plan (IEP) is developed for each child who qualifies for special education services under IDEA. The IEP is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of the individual child. Horizon’s ICFs also support individuals with a variety of medical and behavioral needs that require extensive supports to be healthy. High quality, comprehensive services are provided by Horizon's interdisciplinary team of ICF staff which includes doctors, nurses, psychologists, dieticians, recreational therapists, OT/PT speech therapists, residential technicians, counselors, family social workers, case managers, and citizen volunteers among others. All work together to monitor Service Treatment Plans, medical needs, and provide daily living support which includes full-service laundry, cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping and more. The result is the ability to provide continuous, direct care twenty-four (24) hours per day, with 24/7 oversight and on-call availability after normal business hours.

For those facing financial hardship from unemployment, a family crisis, or a chronic medical condition, EnergyShare is Dominion's energy assistance program of last resort. There is no income guideline requirement, however, clients must have a disconnect notice. EnergyShare intake agencies determine eligibility for EnergyShare and may have additional requirements when qualifying customers for this program.

Offers a Parent-to-Parent program. This is a resource to all families regardless of the age of their family member with Down Syndrome. Mentor parents are ready to lend their listening ear and share their life experiences with those who contact and ask. The volunteer mentor parents are parents of children with Down syndrome who are trained in parent support and will help point families in the right direction for community resources.
