The Energy Assistance Program consists of three components:
Fuel Assistance assists low-income eligible households by supplementing home energy costs. Applications are accepted the second Tuesday in October through the second Friday in November.
Crisis Assistance assists low-income eligible households with emergency heating need, when no other resource is available. This includes payment for one-time heat only security deposit; and/or heating equipment repair/purchase. Applications are accepted November 1st through March 15th.
Crisis assistance for eligible households with purchase of home heating fuel and payment of heat utility bill is available from the first workday in January through March 15th.
Cooling Assistance assists eligible households in acquiring or repairing cooling equipment and /or payment of electric bills to operate cooling equipment. Applications are accepted June 15th through August 15th. The household must contain at least one vulnerable individual who is age 60 or over, disab

This program provides free wood to citizens of the Metro Richmond area who qualify based on eligibility criteria. Wood will be delivered to homes that are located within a 12 mile radius of the woodlot in Northside Richmond. In times of wood shortage, priority is given to Richmond City residents and elderly participants. Requests for wood can be made weekly as needed, but wood will not be delivered to homes where there is sufficient wood to last for a week or more. All recipients receive one level truckload of stove-ready wood per delivery.

Oxford House, Inc. is a network of self-run, self-supported recovery homes for members recovering from alcohol and substance abuse throughout Northern Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia (DC). We provide separate houses for men and women and some houses accept children with parent. When an individual is accepted for membership in an Oxford House, there is no time limit on how long he or she can live there, but the use of alcohol or drugs or non-payment of rent will result in expulsion. There is no clean time required to move into an Oxford House. All houses are near local transportation including buses and subways. Wheelchair accessibility varies by location.

Provides a recovery support. NAMI We Care Augusta supports recovery by providing hope, encouragement and support to the community, including mental health services to consumers and family members.
