Hosts several large-scale events throughout the year at Virginia Beach Community Recreation Centers and parks. All events are free and open to the public.

Provides an overnight shelter for any individuals who would otherwise be outside in freezing temperatures, mid-November through Mid-March. This is not a shelter for families. The shelter is open on the nights when temperatures are low during the winter time period. This is a nighttime only shelter; residents are not permitted to stay during the day or to store possessions at the building. The adult women's location is downtown at FXBG Baptist Church. Transportation is provided from downtown locations each night 6:00-6:30 pm. In order to get on the bus to the Cold Weather Shelter, prospective residents should attend the evening's community meal at one of the downtown churches and wait for the bus at that location. Prospective residents may also provide their own transportation to the Cold Weather Shelter. Do not arrive the Cold Weather Shelter before 6:30 PM each night.

Hospital accompaniment services are provided to survivors seeking support while at a hospital emergency department for evidence collection or treatment relating to domestic and/or sexual violence. Advocates provide supportive counseling, crisis intervention, advocacy, and referral information for additional community resources in the hospital 24/7 in-person or via phone.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Richmond strive to be an effective influence, ensuring youth are life-ready for college, technical training, military or gainful employment. The program offerings and learning opportunities are increasingly individualized and youth-led, enabling members to cultivate their own voices for leadership and change.

The Radford Senior Center uses the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) standard of recognizing seniors as 50 years old or older. All senior events are for senior citizens only.

LIFES Academy provides an engaging alternative setting for students with special needs. Assists students shape appropriate attitudes, behaviors, and life skills so they can realize their fullest potential both academically and socially. LIFES Academy is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Education and is an accredited member of the Virginia Association of Independent Specialized Education Facilities (VAISEF). Students are referred to LIFES Academy through their LEA's special education department in cooperation with the locality's Family Assessment and Planning Team (FAPT) and Community Policy and Management Team (CPMT).

The Virginia Museum of History & Culture collections consist of a wide range of objects, including books and bound serials, imprints, sheet music, broadsides, newspapers, family and personal papers, business and organizational records, genealogical materials, maps, paintings, prints, postcards, weapons, militaria, glass plate negatives, and photographs from the nineteenth century to the present.

Services include confidential peer counseling, no cost pregnancy testing, no cost limited purpose pregnancy confirmation ultrasound, pregnancy options counseling, pregnancy related educational resources, mentoring and referrals to other agencies. Also provides baby clothing, supplemental baby formula, baby food, diapers, and maternity clothing, as available. New items, cribs and pack n plays can be earned by on site lessons.
