The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation provides all people with cystic fibrosis the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment, and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care.

Builds houses to help disadvantaged, low income families from sub-standard housing, who are willing to help build their own home as well as other homes. Homes are built by volunteers and homeowners, known as partner families. Homes are sold to partner families with a no interest mortgage. Habitat families are selected: 1)completion of application and credit report, 2)ability to repay zero-interest mortgage, 3)inability to obtain conventional financing for a home, 4)living in substandard housing or homeless, 5)meet income requirements and 6)agree to partner with affiliate. Volunteers welcomed from all walks of life.

Provides pregnancy and birth parent counseling, adoption and post-adoption services to the residents of Virginia. Counseling is free and confidential. A variety of adoption options are available including parental placements, open adoption of all types, and traditional placements. The Partnership for Adoptions program finds permanent, adoptive homes for older children in the foster care system. Provides an assisted living facility dedicated to Alzheimer's and other dementia patients. Royal Haven's team of trained care givers provide quality services for our residents' special needs. An LPN and RN provide professional support and skilled advice, which is available 24 hours a day. The facility is approved for Home Health and Hospice Care as well as Intensive Assisted Living from early-onset dementia through end of life care.

Provides temporary safety in a foster home environment for children who have been abused/neglected/abandoned in order to provide sufficient time to work with and re-unite these children with their families or to provide therapeutic care for the children.
