Homes are built by volunteers and homeowners, known as partner families. Homes are sold to partner families with a no interest mortgage. Habitat families are selected: 1)completion of application and credit report, 2)ability to repay zero-interest mortgage, 3)inability to obtain conventional financing for a home, 4)living in substandard housing or homeless, 5)meet income requirements and 6)agree to partner with affiliate.
