Emergency Assistance provides short term, limited financial assistance to families with children when a fire or natural disaster has destroyed essential items needed for taking care of a family. The maximum amount of Emergency Assistance is limited to $500.00.

Circuit Court for Roanoke City within the 23th Judicial Circuit of Virginia. The circuit court is the trial court with the broadest powers in Virginia. Health Brigade's Comprehensive Harm Reduction/Needle Exchange Program purpose is to help prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS, and hepatitis C among persons that inject drugs, their families, and the larger community. Service includes the distribution of sterile and disposal of used hypodermic needles and syringes, education, referral to drug treatment, testing, and an array of other health services. Camp for children

Provide an array of outpatient services for individuals age 18+ with mental illness, substance abuse disorders and intellectual disabilities. Services include psychiatric treatment, medication management, case management, in-home services, psychosocial clubhouse, and peer support. Valley Behavioral Health offers support for seniors age 65 and older who are struggling to adjust to changes in their lives. Through a variety of services, physical, emotional, and spiritual health concerns are addressed in a group setting. The goal of is to enable older adults to gain a renewed sense of well-being and find pleasure in activities, family, and friends.

King George County Public Schools offers a free and appropriate education for all resident children with disabilities, age 2-21 inclusive (whose second birthday falls on or before September 30 and who has not become twenty-two on or before September 30).
