The Free Clinic of Franklin County provides health care services and medications to eligible low-income adult residents of Franklin County, or adults with Medicaid. Bernard Healthcare Center serves some under-insured adults, and provides community outreach services such as school sports physicals, PPD testing, glucose testing, and blood pressure checks.

Costs for services are based on a sliding scale and some insurance plans are accepted.

Provides protection for adults from abuse and neglect. Investigates and responds to reports of suspected abuse of disabled adults over age 18 and/or aged persons over age 60.

Baby Care: Special assistance to access community services for Medicaid eligible infants aged two years and under that are at risk for poor health. Promotes healthy outcomes for at risk pregnant women and infants through home visiting and education which is provided by registered nurses.

Depending on the availability of product; we can issue diapers (newborn to size 6), pull-up training pants (2T-5T) and we even offer adult diapers & pull-ups.

Ideally, at-risk children should remain with their actual families whenever possible. Although foster care services offered by the state of Virginia make every effort to keep them together, it is not always possible. Once it is determined that a child must leave the family unit and go into foster care, other services becomes available to them, which are designed to promote child safety and well-being within a nurturing, family environment. Services include: *Placement services; *Teaching independent living skills; *Physical or mental health treatment; *Opportunity for a permanent living situation.

Material, except non-circulating items, may be requested from any branch in Massanutten Regional Library system. Programming for children and adults occurs throughout the year.

Includes meals, weekly housekeeping,activities, lounges, and more. Free transportation available for residents to physician appointments, shopping and other personal appointments. Licensed by the State of Virginia to provide Assisted Living Services. Offers 24-hour on site licensed nurses who provide medication management, assistance with bathing, dressing and other personal services. Assisted Living Services are provided in the same apartment as the independent living services are offered.
