Veterans Nursing Facility - Virginia Beach, Jones & Cabacoy Veterans Care Center, Virginia Department of Veteran Services
Provides comprehensive nursing and domiciliary care to Commonwealth of Virginia residents who are admitted to the JCVCC. The 128-bed facility is organized into communities (64 beds), with two neighborhoods (32 beds). Each neighborhood includes two households (16 beds) with adjoined access to a courtyard. The households feature all private rooms each with its own bathroom and walk in shower as well as a spacious dining room, kitchenette, and dayroom. This person-centered approach creates a true sense of community and home, which supports providing our Veteran residents the opportunity to have as good or better quality of life than before they came to us.

Has 240 beds in the facility, on-site laboratory work, x-rays, physical therapy, podiatry care, and many other ancillary health care services. The Salem VA Medical Center is also located next door for additional services for those qualified.
