The Library Administration Center consolidates staff and services for all of our locations into a single space within the city of Fredericksburg. Volunteers - Staunton, Staunton Public Library

Offers volunteer opportunities at the library. To volunteer at the Library, you must be at least 18 years old and be able to help at least one hour per week. The Staunton Public Library depends on the efforts of its volunteers and encourages all patrons to talk to the Volunteer Coordinator between the hours of 9AM and 5PM, Monday through Friday (except Wednesday mornings).

Loans books, periodicals, DVDs, eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines. Some remotely accessible databases as well as those available onsite. Has reciprocal borrowing agreements with Northern Virginia, DC and some Maryland libraries. Interlibrary loan materials, exam proctoring, and homebound delivery only available to City of Falls Church residents. Wireless access throughout building, free of charge. Public copiers: 1st 10 pages free, then 15 cents/page for black and white and 50 cents for color. 11 public Internet and software work stations free of charge. Study and meeting rooms. Programs for children, teens, and adults on regular basis, free of charge.
