The School of Richmond Ballet offers dance instruction from beginner to pre-professional levels for approximately 900 students of all ages, and its Summer Intensive Program attracts aspiring young dancers from all across the country. The Norfolk Arts Commission provides support and encouragement to arts, culture, and humanities in the City. It develops policies and procedures necessary to carry out arts and culture programs. The Commission is responsible for establishing evaluation criteria for funding grant applications, artist selection, and carrying out review processes. The Commission reviews all grant submissions and evaluates for completeness, value, and equity.
