Provides a variety of programs and comprehensive treatment to those with substance abuse problems. Also offers a 24 hour crisis hotline for individuals requiring immediate assistance.

Crisis Intervention Crisis services offered to children and adolescents who are at risk of entering the hospital or have marked reduction in their psychiatric, adaptive, or behavioral functioning, or an extreme increase in personal distress. Crisis Intervention provides up to 30 days of short-term counseling intended to prevent exacerbation of the condition and provide treatment in the least restrictive setting. Each patient in this rehab program has an individualized addiction recovery plan. This may include all or some of the following: Group therapy, addiction education, individual therapy, group process, family therapy and twelve steps. Certified addiction counselors, nurses and physicians conduct drug and alcohol recovery therapy sessions. Staff nutritionist can work with patient on an individual basis. Individual addiction recovery programs may also involve fitness program; fitness class at a local gym three times per week; this is part of the holistic approach to recovery from addiction, mind, body, spirit.

Substance Use Services offers support to individuals and families experiencing alcohol and other drug-related problems. Gender specific treatment is offered - men's and women's teams. Priority populations include: * Pregnant women are offered an appointment within 48 hours of request for service. * Intravenous (IV) drug users are offered an appointment within 5 to 10 days. * People with HIV+/AIDS are offered an appointment within 5 to 10 days.

Services at Culpeper Clinic can provide medication for the treatment of substance abuse. Individuals who are either on SAMAT medications (such as Suboxone or Vivitrol) or those who are candidates for this treatment are evaluated by Encompass Community Supports (ECS) medical staff. In addition to medical services ECS offers clinical services to include individual and/or group therapy.
