Outpatient Behavioral Therapy (OBT) combines clinic and community-based care to help children with autism and developmental disabilities improve their communication and daily living skills. Working with the whole family, Saint Joseph's Villa use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to create more positive interactions at home while providing the supports needed to avoid out-of-home placement. We’re also here to help you advocate for your child and connect with additional services that will make caregiving easier. Services are offered in the clinic, at home, and out in the community. When you join OBT, you and your child will receive: • A comprehensive assessment • An Individualized Service Plan with short and long-term goals • Quarterly progress and service plan reviews • Case collaboration to coordinate and communicate with any outside services like speech therapy, psychiatry, and school • 24-hour support, including weekends

VHBG's Therapeutic Resource Center provides counseling, consultation, and psychoeducation services to individual youth, families, and groups. All of these services are supervised by a licensed professional. These services effectively and directly meet the needs of youth and families served through VHBG and better mirror a youth's Individual and Family Service Plan (IFSP). VHBG provides a Youth Mental Health First Aid USA eight-hour public education program free to the community each month. This program introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, builds an understanding of the importance of early intervention, and teaches individuals how to help an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge. Mental Health First Aid uses role-playing and simulations to demonstrate how to assess a mental health crisis, select interventions and provide initial help, and connect young people to professional, peer, social, and self-help care. The course is designed for adults who regularly interact with youth (teachers, school staff, coaches, church and youth group leaders, parents, social workers, hospital staff, law enforcement, employers, etc.). The Youth Mental Health First Aid USA curriculum is primarily focused on information participants can use to help adolescents and transition-age youth, ages 12-18. The course teaches participants the risk factors and warning signs of a variety of mental health challenges common among adolescents, including anxiety, depression, psychosis, eating disorders, AD/HD, disruptive behavior disorders, and substance use disorders.

The Fralin Free Clinic is a safety net healthcare provider that provide comprehensive care as a transitional medical home. Region Ten provides a variety of mental health services to meet the needs of our community. Services are provided for all age groups and are provided on an individual, group, or family basis. Services are also available at numerous locations across our catchment area to those experiencing mental health challenges and who may also have issues with substance use. Mental Health Services are strength-based, recovery-oriented services designed to evaluate and treat the mental health challenges that individuals may experience during their lifetime.

Offers outpatient mental health services for individuals age 18+ which include crisis intervention, case management, medication monitoring, outpatient counseling, re-socialization, early intervention, and community and in-home mental health support services. Provides a psychosocial Day Support program at Community House in Winchester for persons with serious and persistent mental illness. Also provides special transportation services for clients. Offers help to individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, major life adjustments, trauma, sexuality, gender identity, and general psychological wellness.

Provides behavioral health treatment which include mental health counseling, substance abuse services, ABA and foster care. Offer in-home and outpatient services for at risk youth, families, and communities, with the steadfast goal of promoting reunification and/or permanency goals for all parties involved.

RACSB offer psychiatric counseling to individuals, groups and families; specialized outpatient counseling and case management services; case management services to link individuals to community resources and to inpatient/residential programs. RACSB also offer emergency crisis intervention.

Outpatient therapy is available for adults, children, adolescents, families and couples. Individuals that have depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, familial discord, trauma, grief/loss, adjustment issues, personality disorders, substance abuse and behavior problems. Connections ABA & Family Support Services Provides home-based and clinic-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children and adolescents under the age of 21 who demonstrate significant impairment in adaptive functioning that is related to either developmental delays or other health conditions.

Dominion Outpatient Services provides the following mental health services: outpatient therapy, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychological testing services, and substance abuse services through intensive outpatient services.

A range of outpatient services for individuals and families. These services can also be used as a step down service from Intensive In-Home Services or in conjunction with Intensive In-Home Services. Treatments services include, but are not limited to: Substance Abuse Counseling: Alcohol and drug education and treatment focusing on triggers, cravings and relapse prevention, planning for sobriety, 12 step fellowships, stress and emotional well-being, negative emotions, anger, and communication Certified Sex Offender Therapy: Service delivery is congruent to Best Practice Model of treatment and is determined by level of Risk, Need and Responsivity (RNR) of client. Services include a weekly group component as well as additional services determined during assessment phase of treatment which constitutes the initial 90-days in care. Trauma Informed Care: Structure and treatment framework involves understanding, recognizing, and responding to the effects of all types of trauma. Trauma Informed Care also emphasizes physical, psychological and emotional safety for both clients and providers and helps survivors rebuild a sense of control and empowerment. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Focuses on a psychotherapeutic approach that examines the relationships between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while bringing awareness to inaccurate or negative thinking. Anger Management groups and/or individual sessions: These services monitor anger on a weekly basis, implement anger control plans, educate clients on the aggression cycle, and teach assertiveness, conflict resolution, and relaxation techniques. Parent Coaching, Education and Support Services: Lessons are taught by Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educators and focus on teaching parents mutual respect, identifying the belief behind the behavior, effective communication and problem-solving skills, discipline that teaches, finding solutions instead of punishing, and encouragement. Independent living education: Explore such topics as debt management, conservation, budgeting, hygiene, holistic health and wellness, nutrition, personal responsibility, job readiness, community resources, housing, public transportation, communication, and effective relationships. Parents and children participate in home-based and/or group-based lessons. Additionally IHS offers teen parenting education and intervention services, parent coaching for youth with sexual behaviors, family reunification and foster care prevention services, pre and post-adoption services, extended family placement stabilization, supervised visitation, and co-parenting counseling, education, and support.

Participants with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related neurodevelopmental disabilities live, work, and play in their communities to the fullest extent possible with VIA’s adult programs, which include day support services, employment services, and behavioral consultation services.

Provide supportive and comprehensive intensive- in- home services to at-risk individuals and families in an effort to: stabilize the family and maintain the home environment; prevent an out of home placement; enable the individual to live at home with the necessary skills to ensure that home is a safe and successful placement; establish and work on identified treatment goals; and assist the family in becoming aware of and utilizing community resources. Intensive in-home services may include assessment, service coordination, crisis management, counseling and skills acquisition designed to assist the individual in interacting appropriately within the context and demands of the home environment. Supportive services are provided to help the family build skills for coping with the individual's disorder. These services must include individual and family sessions by a Licensed Mental Health Professional, behavior management, problem-solving, communications, self-help, activities of daily living, instrumental activities of daily living, skills acquisition, and independent living skills for the individual, and parenting skills are often included. Crisis response is an integral part of in-home services. Services may also include assistance in household management, as related to effective services for the individual. All of the services are flexible and tailored to each individual's needs and all must be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Services have a holistic approach and involve working in collaboration with the community to access and coordinate a full range of supports and services.

Tucker Pavilion offers a full range of inpatient, outpatient and emergency services for children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. Offers HCA Virginia's outpatient, short-term partial hospitalization program (PHP).

Mental health outpatient services are provided consisting of comprehensive assessment and evaluation of an individual's mental health needs, therapy sessions, prescribing and monitoring medications as needed, and case management assistance in assessing community resources.

Adult Outpatient Services provides counseling to Chesterfield County residents over the age of 18 who do not have a primary diagnosis of substance abuse. For routine Intakes, individuals are encouraged to call the main telephone number and speak with an Intake Specialist. Clients may also come directly to the building and request an Intake and Assessment through the Same Day Access process.
