Individuals that have depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, familial discord, trauma, grief/loss, adjustment issues, personality disorders, substance abuse and behavior problems. Outpatient Behavioral Therapy (OBT) combines clinic and community-based care to help children with autism and developmental disabilities improve their communication and daily living skills. Working with the whole family, Saint Joseph's Villa use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to create more positive interactions at home while providing the supports needed to avoid out-of-home placement. We’re also here to help you advocate for your child and connect with additional services that will make caregiving easier. Services are offered in the clinic, at home, and out in the community. When you join OBT, you and your child will receive: • A comprehensive assessment • An Individualized Service Plan with short and long-term goals • Quarterly progress and service plan reviews • Case collaboration to coordinate and communicate with any outside services like speech therapy, psychiatry, and school • 24-hour support, including weekends

This service provides counseling and psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and adults who are experience emotional and behavioral difficulties, chemical addiction, mental illness or who are at risk of developing mental illness. Referrals are taken though any clinic site or through the centralized assessment / referral center. Increase Helpful Behaviors with ABA Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a proven approach that focuses on increasing behaviors that are helpful and decreasing behaviors that are harmful or interfere with learning. VIA's Outpatient Behavioral Services team delivers ABA services in two ways: Build Skills for Daycare, Preschool, or Kindergarten with Early Intervention (ages 2 to 6) Help Children Succeed in Their Local Schools with Intensive School-Based Intervention (ages 5 to 22) Outpatient psychological services include psychological assessments for a variety of developmental and emotional concerns, parent support and coaching, social skills and emotional regulation groups, and therapy for children and adolescents diagnosed with ASD, other neurodevelopmental disorders, and related mood disorders. Speech therapy offers evaluation and treatment of varied communication disorders aimed at increasing clients' communication and independence while focusing on individual strengths and interests. Services are provided at the outpatient clinic and often include family training and consultation.

Serves children and adolescents aged three through seventeen who are experiencing disruption in their lives due to emotional disturbance. Services include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, case management, and case consultation.

Provides mental health, substance abuse, and prevention services. Provides planning and assessment; linking the individual to services and supports; assists with developing and/or obtaining needed supports and resources; coordination of services and service planning, contacting providers or resources, making collateral contacts with significant others; monitoring progress and service delivery; counseling and education; and advocacy.

Services include psychological and emotional support through individual, couple and family counseling and art and play therapy with children; support groups; psycho-educational groups, including life skills training; and parenting education that addresses multiple issues such as safety, discipline, and developmental milestones. Also provides assistance to clients in accessing other community services, including emergency funds, and translation and interpretation services. Acts as an advocate for clients helping clients resolve numerous complex issues and referring clients to the therapists for counseling or Health Center for primary care as needed.
