Mental Health Outpatient - Youth - Roanoke, Mental Health, Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare

Provided at schools or alternate locations utilizing a 5 hour model including therapeutic, educational, recreational, and social activities in the form of groups and individual work. Collateral services to include case management, family education, training and support, crisis intervention and counseling. This service is appropriate for youth who meet criteria for a Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED), or at-risk of developing SED. Emphasis is placed on involving parents in the treatment process and working within the multidisciplinary team, with the goal of maintaining the youth in the school, home, and community environments.

We are charged also with continuously monitoring and evaluating our services to ensure their cost effectiveness and applicability to current citizen needs. BRBH operates multiple programs throughout the Roanoke Valley.
