This program is to provide educational services that enable youth ages 5-18 to become competent, coping and contributory members of their communities. Emphasis on life skills and experiential learning programs.
4-H is the youth development program of Virginia Cooperative Extension. 4-H is rich in experiences where young people partner with caring adults and volunteers to participate in a variety of activities in which they "learn by doing." Youth ages 5-18 participate in Virginia 4-H.

Provides overnight facilities for conferences, retreats, and camping. Environmental education programs for school groups, special programs for youth at risk, and 4-H youth camping is offered during the months of June-August. A rental facility for private picnics is also available on weekends.
