Provides child/youth development, ages 5 to 18, by offering various programs throughout the year such as camping, volunteer training, community service, day camps, residential camps, leadership development and after school programs. The 11 areas of 4-H curriculum focus are: Animal Sciences, Communications and Expressive Arts, Environmental Education and Natural Resources, Jobs, Careers and Economics, Plant and Soil Sciences, Citizenship, Family and Consumer Sciences & Community Initiatives, Health, Nutrition and Wellness, Leadership and Personal Development, and Science and Technology.

A 4-H Junior Camp - a summer camp program for youth ages 9-12 and 13-18 for counselors. In addition to programming, the 4-H Center is available for rental to groups for business or private gatherings and functions like annual meetings, trainings, and family reunions.

A comprehensive youth development program of Virginia Cooperative Extension. Participants engage in hands-on learning experiences under the guidance of Virginia Cooperative agents and volunteers. Programs use experiential learning opportunities to teach the latest research-based subject matter knowledge and to foster skill development in effective citizenship, leadership and other life skills.

Provides overnight facilities for conferences, retreats, and camping. Environmental education programs for school groups, special programs for youth at risk, and 4-H youth camping is offered during the months of June-August. A rental facility for private picnics is also available on weekends.
