YWCA Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virgina is partnered with Ballad Health Systems to operate the Child Development Center on the campus of the Bristol Regional Medical Center. It was designed to serve the children of Ballad healthcare workers, however, additional openings are often available to parents in need of extended-hour child care within our community.

Senior Fitness Program - Emporia, Silver Sneakers, Family YMCA of Emporia-Greensville

The Silver Sneakers program entitles people with supplemental health insurance to receive a free YMCA membership. Included in the membership is access to special Silver Sneakers classes offered four days per week. The classes are taught mostly sitting in a chair and focus on building range of motion and strength required for activities of daily living. In addition to the classes, we do senior socials and field trips throughout the year.

Sexual Assault Response - Lynchburg, YWCA Central Virginia

Sexual Assault Response - 24 hour face to face and help-line assistance to children, teens, and adults who have been sexually abused and/or assaulted. SARP is a major referral source for the criminal justice system, child protective services, forensics nurses, schools, and health care agencies. SARP offers direct victim assistance through an array of services from crisis intervention and advocacy during initial emergency room exams throughout treatment, court proceedings, support groups, and the overall recovery process. SARP also provides awareness and educational programs to area schools, businesses, allied professionals, and the general public.
