Culpeper Career Resource Center (CCRC) in the town of Culpeper County, Virginia is a community resource serving workers looking for employment and employees seeking employees throughout the five county area: Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock counties. Sam's place, a community outreach center, is a one stop hub where individuals and families can access information and referrals to other community partners. Assistance is offered with a variety of needs including, but not limited to health, transportation, food, home repairs, and an avenue to apply for financial aid for housing. Virginia Works matches job seekers to employer job openings using the Virginia Workforce Connection online system (www.VaWC.virginia.gov), the largest database of employer listings in the Commonwealth. Staff can help with job searching, resumes, and applications, and the office provides a bank of computers for job seekers to use. If you lose your job, Virginia Works can help you with your claim for unemployment insurance (UI) benefits. Claims can be filed online at www.vec.virginia.gov, or by phone at 1-866-832-2363. In all services, Virginia Works gives priority to qualified Veterans. For employers, Virginia Works provides assistance with UI taxes and with recruitment, screening, and referrals of candidates. Virginia Works also provides extensive labor market information valuable to both job seekers and employers, and more. ACCESSIBILITY: Fully accessible to persons with disabilities.
