DBVI provides services and resources which empower individuals who are blind, vision impaired or deafblind to achieve their desired levels of employment, education, and personal independence. Services are provided through 4 main programs: Vocational Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation Teaching and Independent Living, Low Vision Services and Education Services. STOP'S Workforce Development Program provides opportunities for participants to engage in in-demand training and certification that is relevant and accessible. This program was designed with the goal of earning a living wage for low-income households and individuals. All course content prepares participants to earn a leading national certification. This includes prep sessions and assistance with scheduling the exam for certification. Upon certification, participants will be assisted with securing gainful employment. Employment Supportive Services offers personal training in acquiring techniques necessary for seeking and maintaining a job. Services include interview techniques, job retention, employment counseling, referral and/or placement application completion, resume writing, and job readiness training. All participants in the program must be willing to pursue the necessary educational opportunities to enhance their employment skills. In addition, STOP provides bus tickets to participants of this program in an effort to assist participants in obtaining and retaining employment.

Culpeper Career Resource Center (CCRC) in the town of Culpeper County, Virginia is a community resource serving workers looking for employment and employees seeking employees throughout the five county area: Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock counties. Sam's place, a community outreach center, is a one stop hub where individuals and families can access information and referrals to other community partners. Assistance is offered with a variety of needs including, but not limited to health, transportation, food, home repairs, and an avenue to apply for financial aid for housing.
